The Certior Group is excited to welcome Lane LaMure to it’s growing team of professionals as Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining The Certior Group, Mr. LaMure founded and was the Chief Investment Officer of L2 Advisors, a private investment advisor to high net worth individuals and family offices. Mr. LaMure has over 18 years of public and private investment experience. Prior to starting L2 in 2012, Mr. LaMure served as a managing director at Attara Capital, L.P., a $1.4 billion long-short equity hedge fund, where he was responsible for real estate and real estate-related securities. Prior to joining Attara in 2009, Mr. LaMure served from 2005 as an equity analyst at Atticus Capital, L.P., a $20 billion long-short equity hedge fund. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. LaMure evaluated private equity investments in real estate, municipal bonds and real estate-related securities for Zephyr Management, L.P., and from 1998 to 2000 underwrote and analyzed real estate acquisition and development opportunities for the UBS/PaineWebber Real Estate Fund, L.P.
Mr. LaMure holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in government from Harvard University, an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School, and B.A. and M.A. degrees in political science from Emory University.
